I'm Brendan, one of the four bloggers on this blog. The topic I will be talking about is Basketball, a sport that i have a very strong passion for.
Basketball is not the only sport that i have played competitively, i use to play soccer as well. However, basketball is my most recent sport that i have taken to a competitive level. Unfortunately, i have given up playing competitively but still play with friends.
I began playing basketball when i was 11 years old, playing in a local competition at Fred Caterson stadium in Castle Hill. I was quick to fall in love with the sport where i decided to try out and was selected to play reps for Hills Hornets. Playing at a representative level for three years i decided to play soccer competitively. As the competition was in the same season i had to choose between soccer and basketball.
Moving from primary school to high school i played competitively for school in the ISA comp. This being in the summer season, i was still able to play soccer during the winter season. And continue playing competitively in both sports.
